Born in Singapore and educated at the Nanyang Technological University, Denise holds a BA in English but has since traded Malory for geopolitical developments, and essays for policy submissions. Her work at the Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs has been centred on designing security and foreign policy, and she is particularly interested in exploring ways to design such policies to meet both immediate and long-term needs amidst a rapidly-evolving environment in a sustainable way. She can probably be found with her earphones in, and a cup of coffee or tea in hand. Denise is a Singapore Ministry of Defence scholar.
