biography
Cristian is from the Republic of Moldova, a small country in Eastern Europe, but with a rich culture and a powerful desire to become more democratic and to be part of the free world. He became involved in politics from the age of 19 and worked in the Government of the Republic of Moldova, starting as the assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova and later becoming an Advisor in the Prime Minister's Office where he was responsible for delivering on the economic priority of the Prime Minister. Cristian became involved in the youth organisation of the Party of Action and Solidarity, the main democratic, pro-European party from Moldova. He was part of the national staff of the party for three consecutive elections – local, Presidential, and now Parliamentary – where he was tasked with managing volunteers, working on the national programme, and being responsible for the entire logistics of the party. Cristian is a Blavatnik School Public Service scholar.
