Gonzalo Davila is from Peru. He is passionate about sustainable economic development, humanitarian action, and strengthening unity across Latin America. He has lived, studied, and worked across eight countries on five continents. Gonzalo studied industrial engineering at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in the United States and completed an MSc in Economic Development at Lund University in Sweden. He has served as a Field Officer with the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia and now leads FutureSense Foundation operations in Latin America. Through the MPP, he aspires to gain the skills to design and implement policies that promote sustainable economic development, peacebuilding, humanitarian action, and expanded opportunities for conflict affected and economically marginalised communities. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing and practicing sports such as Muay Thai, boxing, running, and football. Gonzalo is also a volunteer firefighter.
