Cecilia is an economist from Paraguay with experience in both the financial and public sectors. Since 2021 she has worked as an analyst in economic studies at the Central Bank of Paraguay, within the Department of Economic Statistics. In this role, she analyses government services, develop frameworks to measure regional GDP, and studies institutional sectors to understand how different parts of the economy interact. She also represents the Bank on inter-institutional committees focused on poverty, population, and employment. Cecilia is passionate about exploring how civil society and public institutions can work together to reduce poverty through education policies, and aims to use data-driven analysis to support policies that promote Paraguayans’ wellbeing.
