Camille was born in the French Alps where she spent her early years engaged in cross-country skiing and biathalons. Relocating to Paris, Camille studied philosophy at La Sarbonne and political science at Sciences Po. Camille is currently the director of her own NGO, which combines scientific expertise, political lobying and artistic form. The NGO works with dancers, musicians and filmmakers to create films, documentaries and performances.
Camille authored a book on climate change and the idea of powerlessness. She produced a film about sailing to Iceland to France and Icelandic glaciologists' work. Camille recently collaborated to draft legislation banning forever chemicals in France; public and environmental health is at the heart of Camille's interest. She is also engaged with the issue of deep-sea mining in international negotiations focusing on the Svalbard Arctic region.
