biography

Prior to joining the Blavatnik School of Government, I spent four years as an aide in the U.S. Congress, where I managed the health care, foreign affairs, defence, immigration, and agriculture policy portfolios for Congressman Jared Polis (CO-02). I served as treasurer of the Women's Congressional Staff Association‚ an organisation that drives gender equality initiatives on Capitol Hill‚ and travelled with Congressional delegations to Guatemala, Honduras, Finland, Germany, and the United Nations. Most recently, I devoted a year to exploring how the private sector can catalyse social change, and received fellowships to work for impact-focused accelerators in Guatemala and Colorado respectively. A dual citizen of the US and Mexico, I speak English, Spanish, and proficient French. I am originally from Concord, MA, and graduated cum laude with a BA in political science from Colorado College. I am pursuing my MPP at Oxford as a David & Eleanor Morley Endowed Global Grant Scholarship recipient.
