Brooke is a proud Gamilaroi woman and has written and spoken publicly about what it’s like to be an Aboriginal person in Australia. With a background in political journalism, having previously worked for NITV, SBS and the ABC as Triple J’s breakfast news presenter, Brooke joined the Today Show as entertainment presenter in 2019 and went on to host both news and entertainment. She has interviewed some of the biggest names in entertainment and hosted some of the most prestigious events and television coverage from the ARIA awards, to rolling news coverage and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Brooke is a columnist for Sunday Life, a board member of the Sydney Theatre Company and a member of the Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney) Indigenous Advisory Committee.
