Ayushma is from Nepal, a policy enthusiast with a passion for contributing towards building prosperous societies.

Her background is in development finance and economic and over the past six years, she has garnered experience in policy research and advocacy, working with Samriddhi Foundation, a think tank based in Nepal. Ayushma has conducted quantitative and qualitative policy research on areas including education, agriculture, investment climate, and fiscal policy, and has frequently written opinion articles in the national media.

Ayushma has engaged with policymakers, private sector leaders, think tanks, journalists, and the development community and has successfully secured policy change to influencing election manifestos of political parties. She has also led youth training programs and Socratic discussions aimed at fostering values of liberal democracy. One of her rewarding experiences was contributing to the establishment of provincial think tanks after Nepal went federal.
