biography

Ayushi Khare was born and raised in a small town called Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, India.

At age 17, she moved to pursue a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the University of Delhi where she first experienced a world beyond books. Immediately after, Ayushi became a Young India Fellow, where she was introduced to the theoretical nuances in academia, and the joys of service through a not-for-profit organisation in Chandigarh, Chhoti Si Asha.

As a Mother Teresa Fellowship alumna, Ayushi has been a part of an intensive programme that challenged her to live her truth every day. For over three years, she has been serving at the Government of Delhi’s Child Rights Commission, where she has led projects in inclusive education, initiating India’s first International Journal on Child Rights, leveraging tech-based systems to ensure child wellbeing and serving as the founding programme team member of the Government’s Child Rights Fellowship.

Ayushi's passion lies in reimagining India where a healthy, happy childhood is each child’s right.

Ayushi is a Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholar.
