She currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Malaysia's sovereign wealth fund. Atiqa’s career has taken her from the Central Bank of Malaysia and Kenanga Investment Bank to the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Committee, where she served as lead policy analyst for reform initiatives across healthcare, social protection, and education, coordinating multi-stakeholder collaboration to deliver impactful outcomes. Her core interests lie in the social sectors, with a focus on designing policies that are actionable, evidence-based, fiscally sound, and oriented towards long-term societal wellbeing.
