biography

Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, where she graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. At Dartmouth, she contributed to non-partisan policy research for the Vermont and New Hampshire legislatures. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ashley conducted migration and asylum research in Hungary as a Fulbright Scholar and then served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Legal Aid of Arkansas.

Ashley currently works in the Oregon State Legislature as Chief of Staff to a member of the House of Representatives. In this role, she has worked on legislation covering a range of policy issues, including early literacy, affordable housing and gun violence prevention.

Ashley is a recipient of the James B. Reynolds Scholarship.
