biography

Having grown up in Latvia, Arnolds has spent the last eleven years in Spain, Portugal, the UK and Belgium. After a stint exploring EU policymaking in the private sector, Arnolds has for the past four years worked as a Policy Advisor for a Member of the European Parliament, focusing on economic and environmental issues and, in the past year, has acted as Head of Office.

Following a degree in politics at the Complutense University of Madrid, Arnolds graduated with distinction from a Master's Degree in Political Economy of Europe at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has dedicated over a decade of his free time to a series of international projects and volunteering engagements, most notably the European Youth Parliament.

Arnolds aims to learn how to take his policy contributions to the next level, particularly with a view to implementing an effective policy path towards climate neutrality and developing a sustainable growth model that leaves no one behind.
