biography

I am a policy enthusiast with five years' experience managing mission-driven programmes for regional and foreign governments. My work included managing the Jakarta Governor's yearly priority programmes, developing campaign policy platforms for regional elections, and leading the design of the UK government's technical assistance programme to promote inclusive trade between Indonesia and the UK.

Being a double minority who lives in an ethnically and culturally diverse country, I am interested in learning how evidence-based policymaking can empower democratic institutions to challenge rising populist agendas in Indonesia. I have wide-ranging policy interests, including civil service reform, inclusive and sustainable growth, digital policy and political campaigns. I hold a political economy degree from UC Berkeley with a focus on globalisation and development.
