Arfan is an internal auditor specialising in customs, international trade, and border protection for the Ministry of Finance, Republic of Indonesia. He has hands-on experience in enhancing public policies and is dedicated to eliminating corruption. Through the MPP, Arfan hopes to leverage his skills and knowledge to drive broad positive policy changes and implement reforms that enhance Indonesia’s economic climate and protect its communities. He holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the Jenderal Soedirman University, fully funded by the Asian Development Bank. He was honoured with the 'Nagara Dana Ksatria' award by the Minister of Finance for his inspiring contributions.

Arfan is an Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholar.
