I am the firstborn Argentine son of Korean immigrants. I studied law, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Buenos Aires and attended Georgetown University's Global Competitiveness Leadership Program with a full scholarship. I have 5 years of professional experience in the legislative, working for a Majority Leader and formulating policy initiatives as Legislative Director. In 2016, I was appointed Undersecretary of Cooperation at the Ministry of Culture by presidential decree. For 2 years, I led capacity building initiatives while managing a team of 3 Directors and 70 staffers devoted to the development of federal and international partnerships. Before the Blavatnik School of Government, I was called to serve as Executive Secretary of Argentina 2030, the government's programme for long-term planning and strategy. I am interested in improving the capacity of the State by addressing its structural problems to fix the accumulation of patchwork-solutions that impede crafting programmatic agendas of development.
