After graduating from Warwick University with a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics, Angelos joined UK's HM Treasury's Graduate Scheme. There he had rotations in financial services, international development policy, and UK health spending.
More recently, Angelos spent two and a half years as an Advisor to the UK Executive Directors at the World Bank and IMF in Washington D.C. It was a fantastic, stretching experience, at a time of concurrent crises and ongoing reforms to the international system. He particularly enjoyed getting into the detail of sovereign debt restructurings while also covering a wide ranging country portfolio across the Sahel and West Africa region.
Angelos hopes to use his time on the MPP to strengthen core quantitative skills and dive into some of the policy topics he has most enjoyed working on before returning to the Treasury.
Angelos is a Duke of Cambridge Scholar.
