Andrónico Luksic is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Luksic Group’s holding company Quiñenco S.A., Chile’s leading business conglomerate and the controlling entity of a number of industrial and service companies. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de Chile, the country’s leading financial institution. Mr. Luksic is also Chairman of Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A, Vice Chairman of Compañía Sudamericana de Vapores S.A. (CSAV), and a member of the Boards of Directors of Antofagasta Minerals plc, Invexans S.A., Tech Pack S.A., and Nexans S.A.
Mr. Luksic founded and is president of two nonprofit organizations in Chile: Fundación Educacional Oportunidad and Fundación Amparo y Justicia. He is also a member of the International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai, the International Advisory Board of Barrick Gold, the International Advisory Council of the Brookings Institution, the Chairman’s International Advisory Council at the Council of the Americas, and a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Panama Canal Authority.
Mr. Luksic is also a Trustee Emeritus at Babson College, and a member of the Harvard Global Advisory Council, the President’s Council on Columbia World Projects at Columbia University, the MIT Sloan Americas Board, as well as the International Advisory Boards of the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and the Fudan University School of Management.
