biography

Andrew works at the intersection of technology, institutions and private enterprise to advance public policy, with a particular interest in energy, justice and economic development. With a background in law and international relations, Andrew began his career in Australia's World Bank and multilateral aid team, coauthoring research into aid effectiveness and guiding a doubling of the country's aid budget. As a McKinsey consultant, Andrew led public impact projects across Asia, including designing policy and strategy to establish new renewables markets, uplifting private investment over ten times. 

During Covid he co-founded machine learning startups, expanding access to affordable mental health services. Andrew continued to apply emerging technology to tackle global challenges leading government strategy for SunCable, the world's largest renewables project. 

Andrew is excited to use the MPP to explore how public-private partnerships can accelerate economic development and address complex global challenges.
