biography
Andrea is a humanitarian professional with over a decade’s experience in disaster, conflict, and post-conflict settings, specialising in the protection of human rights for crisis-affected populations. She has worked in a wide range of contexts throughout the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and the Americas, supporting internally displaced persons, refugees, migrants, host communities, and individuals facing human rights violations. Andrea holds a BA in Politics, Sociology, and International & Global Studies from Brandeis University, with a minor in Peace, Conflict, and Coexistence. Building on her humanitarian career and field experience, she is committed to advancing longer-term, systemic changes that address the root causes and structural drivers of forced displacement. Andrea is a Weidenfeld Hoffmann scholar.
