Anam is a public policy professional from Lahore, Pakistan, with over a decade of experience at the intersection of research, evidence-based policymaking, and capacity building. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy, with a specialisation in International Development from Duke University and a Bachelor's in Economics from LUMS. Anam was Director of the Learning Hub at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), where she led programmes that translate academic research into actionable policy, design behavioural interventions, and build state capacity through innovative training models. Her policy interests span public sector reform, evidence use in governance, and gender equity. Anam has collaborated with leading scholars and institutions globally and remains passionate about bridging the gap between research and policy in developing contexts. Anam is a Clarendon scholar.
