Ammar is a senior consultant at Oliver Wyman from Bahrain. His work focuses on policy design, regulatory transformation, operating models, and implementation planning for the public-sector across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). He studied banking at university, but he discovered a passion for public service during his time as a consultant. Through his work, Anmar came to appreciate how fortunate he is to be in a position where he can truly effect change, feeling a duty to serve where he can have the greatest impact. As a citizen of the GCC, Anmar closely follows the economic and political transformations taking place across a region that has long been considered an oasis of stability surrounded by conflict. This generational shift in the structures of governance is of particular interest to him, as it affects millions of people, including him and his family, and could fundamentally reshape how his country is governed and his fellow citizens live.
