Born in the marginalised small village of Mutasa, Zimbabwe, Allan is a human rights and youth activist who has been a trailblazer in the fight for human rights and freedoms in Zimbabwe. He has placed himself at the forefront in the fight for constitutionalism, respect for the rule of law and a fight against corruption and abuse of power by government executives. His convictions are born of the realities he was exposed to during his time pursuing tertiary education at the University of Zimbabwe, where Allan earned a BSc in Finance and Banking (Hons), MSc in Corporate Finance and Investment Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation. During this time, he learned the power that lies in speaking out against any irregularities and wrongdoing by those in positions of authority. He has been working across the breadth of the country, fighting against the disenfranchisement of youths in national processes by educating them about power their voice holds.
