Alex has spent the last two years in the UK Cabinet Office’s Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat and COBR Directorate, where he developed strategies to strengthen national resilience and led responses to domestic and international crises. He is particularly interested in how Government can enable the conditions for innovative transformative technologies, the impact these technologies can have in improving public services and how crisis response policy can adapt to the risks they present. Alex holds a degree in International Relations and Business from Aston University. Alex is an Academic Futures scholar.
