Adrián from Slovakia is a results-driven professional with expertise in reform delivery, strategic communication, EU and public affairs. After graduating from the University of Bologna, he joined the European Commission, monitoring Slovakia’s economic and social development. When the pandemic hit, he engaged in shaping the €6.4bn Recovery and Resilience Plan, outlining key reforms and investments, at the Ministry of Finance and co-developing its implementation structures. Later, he led a department at the Government Office responsible for EU negotiations and strategic communication, and served as Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Strategic Council. Following a period of political turbulence, he was appointed as Head of Cabinet to the Deputy Prime Minister in Slovakia’s first technocratic government, enhancing cohesion policy and EU funds. Additionally, Adrián co-organises the National Public Service Award and contributes to an NGO promoting integrity and excellence in public administration. Adrián is a Reuben-Blavatnik scholar.
