Adil Rahoo is a 29-year-old public policy advocate from Pakistan. He founded SFR Foundation, a nonprofit organisation that he leads to improve access to education, healthcare, and clean water in Sindh. He graduated with a first-class degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, where he was elected the first international Student President representing 18,000 students and received the university’s highest awards for academic and societal impact. Adil Rahoo's grandfather, a revered political leader in Sindh, spent twelve years in prison under military regimes in his fight for democracy before his assassination. Inspired by his legacy, Adil Rahoo aspires to become a policymaker focused on reforming governance, tax systems, and public service delivery in Pakistan. He has participated in 12 student, provincial and national elections across Pakistan and the UK, developing experience in policymaking across diverse and complex systems, which he intends to build on through the MPP.
