biography

Abraham Raju is a Research Assistant in Development Economics at the Blavatnik School of Government.

His field of interest is in applied microeconomics and development research, focusing on health, education and behavior, with the goal of rigorously evaluating programs aimed at improving the lives of those living in poverty.

Abraham has previously worked at the Max Planck Institute in Bonn and at Malengo, an NGO that facilitates educational migration for low-income students.

He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bonn and a BA in Economics and Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
