biography

Born and raised in Hong Kong and Singapore, Aaron Ho attended medical school at University College Cork in Ireland and graduated at the top of his class.

During college, he developed a strong passion for global health and co-founded an NGO called "Medicina Transcendente", which organises medical expeditions in south-east Asia. Aaron later returned to Singapore to fight COVID-19 as the Chief Data Manager in the Sungei Tengah Dormitory, where he developed a data management system that provided crucial statistics to identify the highest-risk patients and construct epidemiological heat maps to track cases.

After completing his housemanship in 2021, Aaron joined the Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) at Oxford for the MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology as an NDPH Scholar. With the MPP, Aaron hopes to harness the synergies between the practicality of public policy and the humanity of medicine to make a meaningful impact on global health equity.

Aaron is a Jardine Scholar.
