This week we welcome a new cohort of 149 Master of Public Policy students, representing 59 countries across the world – including our very first students from Bahrain, Cyprus, Costa Rica, Republic of Congo and St Kitts and Nevis, expanding our MPP community to 141 nationalities.

2026 Heywood Fellow Jenny Bates argues that the United Kingdom needs a new international economic strategy, one that reflects the UK's place in a changing world – balancing openness with economic security, resilience and the ability to act in the national interest.
