This weekend the Blavatnik School marks 10 years of teaching the Master of Public Policy and we are seizing the opportunity to launch our first ever Alumni MPP Appeal.

We’ve come a long way since welcoming the first 38 MPP students back in 2012, and around 120 students each year since. Now – ten years on – our global, life-long community can count on more than 1,000 outstanding people who are committed to public service and to supporting each other.

“We see this new initiative as a chance for our alumni community to join together in supporting the mission we all share of a world better led, letter served, and better governed. It is that – not the amount that individuals are able to give – that sits at the heart of this appeal," said Professor Ngaire Woods, founding Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government. "By working together we can do more and we can do better.”

ALUMNI MPP APPEAL

The Alumni MPP Appeal is a chance for our alumni to join efforts in helping the next generation of public leaders, who will also become part of their community. The focus for the initiative is on participation – all gifts, no matter how big or small, represent a vital contribution in ensuring that finance is never a barrier for exceptional people who want to take up their place on the MPP.
