We are delighted to announce that Sir Paul Collier, Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School and Director of the International Growth Centre, has been elected to the British Academy as a Fellow. Professor Collier received this honour for his research on the economic development of Africa and the causes of state fragility.
British Academy Fellowships are awarded to those at the pinnacle of humanities and social sciences research, both in the UK and across the globe. This year’s list also includes many other members of Faculty from the University of Oxford.
We would like to congratulate Professor Collier on this outstanding achievement.
