Victoria Mwirichia (MPP Class of 2015) was recently selected as a Fellow for the British Council's inaugural Future Leaders Connect programme.
The Fellowship provides an opportunity for young policymakers from 10 countries to interact with Members of Parliament and various other policy practitioners from the UK. It is also an opportunity to build on the Fellows' policy-making skills. I will be travelling to London in October, alongside 49 young policymakers, to take part in a 10-day policy conference in Cambridge and London. Here is a link to one of the news articles about the Fellowship, and a short video clip on Victoria's pitch on education policy.
