Earlier this year, we launched a collaboration with the Inamori Foundation to celebrate our shared values of inspiring, educating and connecting individuals who strive for the greater good of humankind and society. Our new partnership will see us bring the Kyoto Prize winning Laureates to Oxford for an annual celebration of their achievements in Europe.
The 2016 Kyoto Prize Laureates were officially presented with their awards by President Kazuo Inamori at a ceremony in Kyoto, Japan earlier today, and we are thrilled to announce the coinciding launch of the Kyoto Prize at Oxford website.
The website will host updates on the Laureates – scientists Dr Takeo Kanade and Dr Tasuku Honjo, and philosopher Dr Martha Craven Nussbaum – as well as information and details about the upcoming inaugural Kyoto Prize at Oxford event, which will take place on 9-10 May 2017.
The next two days will see the Laureates participate in Commemorative Lectures and a number of workshops in Kyoto – keep checking the new Kyoto Prize at Oxford website to find out more about this week’s event in Kyoto,
