Healthcare start-up co-founded by alumnus wins Digital Health Award

Halitus – a German healthcare start-up co-founded by Sven Jungmann (MPP 2013) that aims to non-invasively detect diseases in people’s breath within 30 seconds via a handheld device – has been awarded first place in the fifth annual Digital Health Awards by the global pharmaceutical company Novartis.

Climate policy strengthens globally, despite unprecedented contestation in the US and Europe

As countries meet at COP30 in the Amazon, a new survey of climate-related laws and regulations finds new and strengthened climate policies across the world, especially in Asia and emerging markets. Overall, however, policies remain insufficient to close the gap between targets and actions and prevent severe climate impacts.
