After having received outstanding positive feedback last year, we are pleased to announce that applications are open for our high-level Executive Course on Oil, Gas, and Mining Governance.
The course, now in its third year, is developed in cooperation with the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and is led by globally recognised experts including Professor Sir Paul Collier and NRGI's President Daniel Kaufmann.
It is designed to encourage government minsters, advisors and policy leaders from the public and private sector to share their own experiences while gaining insights and specialist knowledge in the field of natural resources management.
Over six intensive days, the course will explore issues such as tax and contracts and resource revenue management and investment. Through a series of lectures and workshops, participants will discuss the role of good governance and political commitment and the importance of building trust and communicating with citizens.
“It gave me a great overview of the extractive sectors, best practices and tools to come up with suitable policies for my country.”

In addition to time spent in the classroom, there will also be the unique opportunity to visit historical locations and spend time inside some of Oxford’s beautiful colleges.
The course will take place from 6 to 11 September 2015 in Oxford and applications are now open.
