Alumna Amina Tarraf (MPP 2015) has published a report for WPP's Government and Public Sector Practice using research from her Summer Project in India. The report is entitled “Creating demand in public health” and focuses on the issue of open defecation in India. The study demonstrates how behaviour change communications is key to improving public health in developing countries. Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
