Dr Emily Jones, Associate Professor in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, this week hosts United States Trade Representative, Ambassador Katherine Tai, President Biden’s trade advisor, negotiator and spokesperson.
Ambassador Tai will discuss with leading UK experts and policymakers on ways that governments can work together to realise the opportunities and address the harms that arise form a rapidly digitalising global economy. She will also meet with Oxford professors and students to discuss ways to ensure that globalisation delivers for all citizens and the environment.
Dr Jones, a leading expert, researcher and commentator on global economic governance, said:
