Alumnus writes about Afghan peace options

Rafiullah Kakar (MPP 2013) writes an ope-ed in The News International, the largest English language newspaper in Pakistan, about the uncertain security situation in Afghanistan and the region, particularly after President Biden’s recent decision to withdraw unconditionally all foreign forces from the country by September 2021.

St Paul’s Church acquired for Blavatnik School of Government

The University of Oxford has purchased St Paul’s Church in Jericho, Oxford, for the Blavatnik School of Government, helping to ensure this important local building can be protected for the years ahead.

Blavatnik School of Government building marks ten years of architectural innovation

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Blavatnik School of Government’s building, since its opening. Created by architects Herzog & de Meuron, the building won a 2016 RIBA National Award as a “cathedral of learning”.
