Bruno Schettini Goncalves (MPP 2015) has contributed a chapter to a new book on public policy in education in Brazil. The publication comprises six case studies, including Bruno's chapter on the importance of leadership for public managers.
Bruno is currently working as the National Director of Public Safety Institutions´ Modernization at the Ministry of Public Safety, Brasilia. He will begin a new role as State SubSecretary for Planning, Budget and Management in the next government.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
