Yifan Hou (MPP 2018) has become the youngest ever full professor at Shenzhen University, China. At 26 years old, Yifan is a four-time women's world chess champion and currently the highest rated female player in the world. She takes up her professorship at the university's School of Physical Education, where she will be heading the institution’s chess programme.
