Aliyyah Ahad (MPP 2015) has been appointed as the Government of Bermuda representative in Brussels. Aliyyah previously worked as an Associate Policy Analyst at the Migration Policy Institute, where she built relationships with multiple policy stakeholders and carried out rigorous research and analysis on some of the most pressing policy issues. As Bermuda's representative in Brussels, Aliyyah will develop and build upon Bermuda's key relationships with the various EU entities in Brussels.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
