The admissions cycle is now open for 2016 entry to our Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Doctorate in Public Policy (DPhil) programmes.

Our degree programmes attract hundreds of applications from people all over the world who are passionate about improving government and public policy. There are up to 120 places available on the MPP for 2016 entry, and up to 15 in total on the DPhil programme.

We’re often asked what we’re looking for in applications to our degree programmes. Our best advice is to encourage prospective applicants to browse our webpages, which provide full details about what our programmes involve, insights into the lives and achievements of current and past students, and an explanation of how to apply.

You can also stay up to date and well informed about admissions and life at the School through following the Blavatnik School Blog, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
One of our incoming students has shared with us her experience of the admissions process so far, and her blog post on "Preparing for Oxford" makes for an interesting and informative read if you are thinking about applying.

Keen-eyed Blavatnik School website visitors will also notice that we’ve just introduced a new logo for the Blavatnik School of Government.  This new look and logo, launched on this first day of the 2016-17 admissions cycle, reflects and is inspired by the shape of our new building, which will soon be the home for all our teaching and research.

While our admissions team will now be working hard to prepare for the next cycle of admissions, the rest of us are looking forward to welcoming the MPP and DPhil Classes of 2015. We will introduce them to you over the coming weeks via website profiles and blog insights. So stay tuned!
