Challenges and opportunities in Somalia: Insights from the Minister of Finance

In this talk, Abdirahman Dualeh Beileh, Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Somalia, discusses the opportunities and challenges at this juncture of international financial institutions re-engagement after over two decades of civil war. The Minister focuses his discussion on Somalia’s fiscal reforms, the opportunities for economic growth and the pathway to clearing the national debt of Somalia under the IMF Staff Monitored Program.
