Richard Manning, Senior Research Associate at the Blavatnik School of Government and former Chair of the OECD Development Assistance Committee, will assess the state of the multilateral development system following the major replenishments of 2016, the change of Administration in the US, pressures on aid budgets worldwide, and their possible implications for progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals agreed in 2015.

Richard ManningRichard Manning is also an independent consultant on international development, chairman of the board of the Institute of Development Studies, vice-chairman of the current Replenishment of the Global Fund for Aids, TB and Malaria, and Coordinator of the Replenishment of the AfDB’s soft fund.

The seminar will be chaired by the Warden of St Antony's College, Professor Margaret MacMillan.
