The School will be holding an information afternoon for all prospective MPP students (applying in the current session or contemplating applying from September 2013).
It will consist of a series of short presentations covering the mission and values of the School, a curriculum overview, experiences and progress to date and the application process itself. The agenda will cover application criteria, finance and you'll have the chance to ask questions of the faculty, the students and the administrative staff.
Attendance is limited and we suggest that you attend only if you are in Oxford already, either for the Challenges of Government Conference or because you are already a student here. If you would like to apply for one of the available places please email enquiries@bsg.ox.ac.uk
Join the session online
We will be using the WebEx environment to broadcast the whole of the information afternoon to prospective students from across the world. You will be able to see and hear all the talks and be able to submit your own questions through the online chatroom. We'll answer as many of these as we can on the day and we'll answer all questions either via WebEx or on Facebook.
Places are limited. Our WebEx channel has a limited number of spaces so please register with us now if you're certain you'll be able to watch live. We'll send you joining instructions before the session begins. To register please click the Open session for prospective students here
Watch online after the event
All the sessions will be posted on YouTube afterwards so even if you know you can't make the session, leave yourself a diary note and catch up on what you missed.
Challenges of Government Plenary: Deepening Democracy

This plenary, moderated by Gideon Rachman of the Financial Times, will begin with a Keynote and Presentation of the Annan Report (Louise Arbour, President, International Crisis Group; former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights) and include Perspectives from the Next Generation (Sondos Asem, senior English-language web editor, Muslim Brotherhood; member of foreign relations committee, Freedom and Justice Party, Egypt, and Blavatnik School Students).
This session will take place between 2:15 - 3:30pm, immediately before the Information Afternoon.
Places are limited so if you are in Oxford and would like to attend the Deepening Democracy plenary, please email enquiries@bsg.ox.ac.uk. You may also watch this session online via our WebEx channel on the day.
