A special event for MPP students

This Dean's Forum brings His Excellency Amr Al-Dabbagh, former Minister in charge of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), to a discussion with Dean Ngaire Woods and MPP students.  His Excellency will share his experiences of the development of 6 new cities in Saudi Arabia based on a PPP model. He will also share some ideas from his recent book, "Governpreneurship" , in which he presents a compelling argument for increased focus on entrepreneurship in public sector organizations. This will be a highly interactive session, with opportunities for students to engage in open discussion with the speaker.

About HE Amr Al-Dabbagh

His Excellency Mr Amr Al-Dabbagh served as Chairman of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), with a rank of Minister (2004-2012), during which time he led the development of 6 new cities in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi economic cities initiative was based on a public-private-partnership model with government acting as regulator, facilitator and promoter, and the private sector providing capital and expertise. Mr Al-Dabbagh also serves as Chairman and CEO of the Al-Dabbagh Group, and is founding Chairman of the STARS Foundation.

This is an internal event for MPP students only.
