Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6GG
Each year, thousands of children are affected by armed conflict in countries around the world. This includes attacks on schools, hospitals and homes; abduction; displacement; and recruitment into armies. Save the Children is working to protect children who are in danger, from armed conflict and other risks.
Kevin Watkins, CEO of Save the Children (previously at ODI and Brookings Institution), will speak about what they are doing to save children's lives, and improve their chances in the future.
Open to all. Register to attend.
This event is co-hosted by the Blavatnik School of Government and the Global Economic Governance Programme.
