This event is hosted by the Blavatnik School of Government, the Global Economic Governance Programme, and the Oxford Lawyers Against Poverty.

Brexit Oxford Lawyers Against Poverty is an initiative set up by Legal Professionals and Students interested in the link between the rule of law and poverty in the developing world and how lawyers can make a positive contribution to the alleviation of poverty through legal channels.

The event will feature Emily Jones, Associate Professor in Public Policy (Global Economic Governance) and Jeremias Prassl, Associate Professor in Law and Fellow of Magdalen College. The evening’s focus will be on protecting trade agreements with developing countries post Brexit and the expected disappearance of European Jurisprudence from UK law.
