Blavatnik School of Government, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG
The opinion polls have narrowed and this general election now seems likely to be a closer contest than many expected. Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn are proposing two radically different visions for the future of Britain – which will prevail? And with Brexit and the possibility of Scottish independence looming, what might the next five years hold?
Join us for an election debate chaired by Chris Deerin, Director of External Relations at the Blavatnik School of Government.
The panel:
Lord Willetts, executive chair of the Resolution Foundation and former Conservative minister
Kate Forbes MSP, member of the SNP’s Growth Commission
David Aaronovitch, author and commentator
Danny Dorling, Halford Mackinder professor of human geography at the University of Oxford and author of A Better Politics
This event is free and open to all. To attend, please register here.
The event will be live streamed and recorded on the Blavatnik School of Government YouTube channel.
