The Blavatnik School of Government is seeking to appoint a personable and conscientious Receptionist to provide vital administrative support in a busy, stimulating and challenging environment.
The postholder will provide a meet and greet service to all individuals, including staff, students and visitors, who use the building. They will be responsible for dealing with general enquires, taking action where possible or field onto the relevant person/s at the school, ensuring building security is maintained by checking ID cards or following specific building protocols, and will provide support for all the School’s administrative teams as appropriate.
A successful candidate should enjoy working with people and have a competent, professional manner in dealing with customers face to face, and possess a clear understanding of the important aspects of customer service. They should have a good understanding of standard administrative procedures, evidenced by formal secretarial/administrative qualifications or work experience at a similar level, and have excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
