Thin Thin is from Myanmar, keen to facilitate the deepening of human rights in response to the regional emergence of shrinking civic space.

After graduating with a BA in Management, Thin Thin interned at the UN Capital Development Fund and supported the women's economic empowerment initiative. This led her to Namati, coordinating the Grassroots Justice Network, which is the largest global community of justice defenders. As a part of the network effort to enhance legal empowerment in the Southeast Asia region, Thin Thin connects with members and undertakes learning exchange, community building and collective advocacy. Her main interest is in social policy to reinforce inclusivity and improve community livelihood. In addition, Thin Thin wants to organise her community and contribute to a more accountable governance system. Thin Thin creates digital art and write poetry. She is inspired to use her creativity to connect with people and build solidarity spirit.
